24 months. 3 different roles. So, you learn everything there is to know to become a scrum master. From being a member of an agile squad team to change management to be the sidekick of an experienced scrum master. 

Become an expert in agile methodology

At BNP Paribas Fortis, they use the agile methodology, just like they do at Spotify. A way to manage projects with its own glossary: scrums, sprints, backlogs… You’ll learn everything about it. 

Grow your leadershipskills

You’ll benefit from more than 20 days of trainings and a personal coach from Ormit Talent. Your best shot at getting to know yourself and growing faster into your role as mentor and coach of your team.

Drive change

Spread the agile vibe and drive change within “the bank for a changing world”. Contribute to meaningful projects that affect millions of customers: bank applications, cooperations with other banks, going paperless, launching new investment products, GDPR,… To name a few

What will you be doing?

As a scrum master, you are a part of a multidisciplinary team. Full of experts in their own field. You and the product owner make sure that the team develops and runs qualitative (IT) applications. To serve the bank’s millions of customers. 

 A scrum master leads the team to its success ! From people management to risk management, to priority management… One job that hides many others. 

In just two years we’ll teach you everything to become a real scrum master. Thanks to different roles and missions within the IT department of the bank, the leadership and agile trainings and our personal coaching. 

How do you get there?

  • To kick off your traineeship, you’ll start as a member of a squad. You’ll be integrated in an agile team and learn a lot about the way it works, meet the experts on the project, and of course leave your own mark on the project as well. Think of roles as a tester or functional analyst. 
  • In the second stage you’ll be driving change. Think of shadowing a scrum master or already being one, leading a small squad.
  • And to conclude your journey towards the finish line, the floor is yours to learn the role of scrum master step by step. You’ll be the sidekick of an experienced scrum master. 

In between you’ll get to fully understand how the bank and the agile world function. How? Think branch visits, events with different departments, or your participation in a guild to expand your knowledge and share your expertise. 

How special are you? 

You have a bachelor or master’s degree

In any field actually. As long as you have an affinity to work in a business environment. With a maximum of 3 years of work experience.

You say ja or oui fluently and yes too

You are fluent in French or Dutch (C2) and English (C1) has no secrets for you.

You are curious about IT

You show interest in IT and other technical things. 

You want to know everything about the agile methodology

You have read or heard about it and you’re eager to become an expert in this field.
