NextGen Leader

Experienced professionals ready to lead before the title says so.

You’ve delivered. You’ve taken ownership. Now you’re ready to lead. So why wait for the title, the vacancy or the perfect timing?

Our NextGen Leadership Program throws you in it: real assignments, different companies, and the support to grow into the leader you’re ready to become.

Your future job

You’re hired to lead, whether or not the title says so.

Not always as a formal people manager, but as the person who gives direction, creates clarity and gets others moving. As AI changes how work gets done, leadership becomes even more human: translating complexity, building trust and helping people move forward when the answer isn’t obvious.

This is not one fixed role in one fixed company. You’ll work across different organisations, projects and leadership contexts: leading a project, owning a product, coordinating a team or guiding change.

Whatever the context, the essence stays the same: you take ownership, make decisions, align stakeholders and keep momentum when things get messy.

Next to your assignment, you’ll mentor a more junior talent within OrmitTalent. It’s one more way to practice what leadership really means: helping someone else grow.

You won’t be dropped into a vague “talent program”. You’ll become part of the client’s team with responsibilities from the start while staying part of the Ormit Talent ecosystem that helps you grow faster than you would on your own.

Roles we might place you into include:

Project lead / Scrum master

guiding a transformation, AI or change project from planning to delivery.

Product owner

translating business needs into a clear product direction and turning ideas into adoption.

Team lead and coordinator

bringing structure, following up on progress and keeping the bigger picture visible.

Chapter lead

guiding a group of people in the same role, helping them learn from each other, set role standards and grow their skills.

Program manager

coordinating multiple projects, aligning priorities, dependencies, risks and stakeholders to deliver the bigger outcome.

AI lead

bridging business, technology and people in AI adoption.

Disclaimer: probably won't be yours, but gives you an idea.

How do you inspire contractors to adopt and use an AI-tool specifically designed for their sector?

The key question that you tackle in this assignment. Together with technical experts and marketing and communications specialists, you design, roll out and follow up on an adoption plan that caters to all of your customers’ needs. Both internally and externally. You excel in stakeholder management and you bring structure and simplicity to a highly complex environment.

No hierarchical tie? No problem!

In this role you bring structure to the team and transform their way of working. You lead by example and drive the change that’s necessary for success, by supporting and coaching each member of the team. The goal? A team that’s operating on a high level and gets out of its perennial “firefighter mode”.

Process Manager

That’s your main goal as Process Manager at BAC. You look at the overall processes, analysing the pain points and spotting the opportunities for improvement. And then you implement them. This role combines strategic, high-level thinking with hands-on, concrete operational activities.

What you bring to the table

3 to 5 years of experience

In consulting, transformation, project management, business analysis or a business role where you took ownership and drove things forward.

A Master's degree

Or equivalent experience

Natural leadership

Not by title, but in practice: people trust your judgement and follow your lead.

Strong human skills

Communication, reading a room, giving direction and handling difficult conversations.

AI and tech literacy

You don’t need to be an AI or tech expert, but you understand what AI can and can’t do, and how to put it to work in an organisation.

Strong language skills

C2 in Dutch or French, B2 in the other, and fluent English (C1).

This isn’t your dream job if you...

… want one stable role in one company. This program grows you across roles, companies and contexts.

… are not looking to take the lead or haven’t yet built small moments of ownership and influence.

… want to go deep into one field and stay there. We’re looking for people who want to lead across teams, roles and change.

For over 30 years, we’ve been developing the next generation of professionals — from graduates, to people with a first experience, to those ready to step into leadership. We understand them and the workplaces around them, and we help both move forward together.

The world of work is changing fast. AI is reshaping how teams operate, and the skills that matter most are increasingly human ones — the kind that don’t fit neatly on a CV. Developing those skills is what we’ve been doing all along.

We’ve been named Great Place to Work for several years running. Not as a slogan, but as proof that the support around you here is real.
