The jobs of tomorrow

One thing is certain: the labor market of tomorrow will look very different from that of today. Some jobs will disappear, but others will emerge in their place, affecting as much as 22% of all jobs! Three major factors are influencing this change:

1

Technological innovation

Roles such as Big Data specialists, FinTech engineers, and AI specialists are on the rise. Cybersecurity profiles and software developers are also seeing strong growth.

2

Sustainability

The green transition is creating a lot of opportunities in renewable energy, energy storage, and environmental management.

3

Demographic shifts

Due to an aging population, there is an increased demand for healthcare professionals, while economic changes are creating more jobs in delivery services, retail, and construction.

Skills that will make the difference in 2025

According to organizations

What stands out is that, in this digital world, human skills—such as self-reliance and collaboration—are highly valued. This is understandable in our fast-paced, ever-changing world. Being able to rely on your personal compass and leadership is crucial to staying afloat and being successful! This also involves a high level of analytical ability and strong problem-solving skills (creativity).

Above all: continuous development

It is essential to understand that these skills are not a static checklist but traits of employees who are agile and continuously developing. It’s this deeper attitude and these competencies that will determine how well your organization can adapt to change.
